About this notebook
This notebook follows the examples on ggplot2's reference page for
scale_x_binned(), which covers
scale_y_binned() too, in the order the page gives them. Each example shows ggplot2's code first
and then Giggly's. An example Giggly cannot draw yet keeps its ggplot2 code and names what it is
waiting for, so the page is also a list of what remains.
scale_x_binned() and scale_y_binned() cut a continuous position into bins, so that a geom
needing discrete positions can use it: with geom_bar(), a binned x scale draws a histogram. Giggly
has neither yet: it has no binned scales, and a position scale is continuous, discrete or a date
one.
