About this notebook
ggplot2's reference page for fortify()
has no examples, so this notebook says only what the page describes and where Giggly stands.
fortify() turns a model or another R object into a data frame, so that ggplot2 can plot it; it
is an S3 generic, with methods for particular classes. The page recommends the broom package
instead, which covers a much wider range of objects, and says fortify() may be deprecated.
Giggly takes any table as a plot's data: a keyword list of columns, a map of columns or a list of
maps. Not in Giggly yet: fortify().
