About this notebook
ggplot2's reference page for mpg has no
examples, so this notebook says only what the page describes and where Giggly stands.
mpg is a subset of the fuel economy data the US EPA publishes at fueleconomy.gov: 234 cars of
38 models, kept because each had a new release every year from 1999 to 2008, which stands in for
their popularity. Each row gives a car's manufacturer and model, its engine displacement in
litres, year of manufacture, number of cylinders, transmission, drive train (f front-wheel, r
rear-wheel, 4 four-wheel), city and highway miles per gallon, fuel type and class. Giggly has it
as Giggly.Datasets.mpg/0, which returns ggplot2's mpg as a keyword list of columns, a table
Giggly.Plot.new/2 takes as it is.
