About this notebook

ggplot2's reference page for msleep has no examples, so this notebook says only what the page describes and where Giggly stands.

msleep is an updated and expanded version of the mammals sleep dataset: 83 mammals, each with its common name, genus, order, diet, conservation status, hours of total and REM sleep, length of sleep cycle, hours awake, and brain and body weight in kilograms. The updated sleep times and weights come from Savage and West (2007); the order, conservation status and diet were added from Wikipedia. Not in Giggly yet: the msleep dataset.
