About this notebook
ggplot2's reference page for
position_identity() has no
examples, so this notebook says only what the page describes and where Giggly stands.
position_identity() adjusts nothing: every row is drawn where its position aesthetics put it,
whether or not its mark overlaps another. Giggly has no position by that name yet.
Giggly.Plot.geom_point/3 draws each point at its row's x and y, unadjusted, as ggplot2's
geom_point() does by default. Giggly.Plot.geom_bar/3 and Giggly.Plot.geom_col/3 take
position: :stack, their default, position: :dodge or position: :dodge2, so they cannot yet
draw bars over one another, as position = "identity" does.
